This tough edged tool was carefully hand forged from one solid piece of 5160 high carbon spring steel. The authentic forged surface texture gives this knife lots of unique character. This compact piece is perfectly suited to long range pack outings, rugged camping trips, or every day carry. The blade has been fully heat treated and tempered, and is guaranteed to function flawlessly as a useful cutting tool. The integral hilt has been tightly wrapped with red 550 Para cord that gives a good grip, and absorbs moisture while using. This knife comes complete with a hand stitched/dyed leather scout sheath, with double reversible horizontal belt loops and a snap retention strap.
